Wow, what an interesting video! I have to admit that I was seriously questioning much of what it said, though. In "the real world" of teaching and education, there would have to be dramatic changes taking place for students to be allowed (and encouraged) to use their cell phones an ipods in class. I assume that's what the video was trying to get at, though--that dramatic changes are needed for us to reach our students in this technologically reliant society. I just can't see myself breaking so many admninistrative rules to try to get through to my students. The change should start with me (and other teachers), but it really can't.
