Technology Integration incorporated into classroom teaching empowers teachers and actively engages students in the learning process. It has revolutionized access to resources, tools, teaching and learning as well as enhanced collaboration between teachers and students.

Technology Integration involves knowledge and familiarity with a variety of technology tools in order to choose and use the best tool or combination of tools for learning, sharing, communicating as well as productivity. It goes beyond using tools to dispense information; it includes giving learners the opportunity to express their understanding in new, exciting and creative ways. Technology should be used as a means and not an end in itself. The actual tool should not be the focus; the focus should be on student learning.
