GPB UnitedStreaming: A comprehensive Digital Video Library at your fingertips.

 You will set up an individual username and passcode.

 Different ways to search:
KEYWORD – searches for videos, segments, images, and articles using your keywords
ADVANCED – allows input of keywords and allows you to choose specific media publishers or certain types of media files (editable, Spanish, new)
SUBJECT – by clicking on one of the 7 core subject areas you can view resources that correspond to your needs…narrow your results by choosing a specific subject or grade level
GRADE – by clicking on a grade-level you can view all grade-level appropriate materials
CURRICULUM STANDARDS – videos have been cross-referenced to Georgia’s Performance Standards, check here for videos that may match up with what you’re teaching

 It is recommended that you save the video to a flash drive…BUT
 If you are going to download the video for the day, please download it to your DESKTOP!
 Our user agreement prohibits you from storing the video on your desktop longer than a day. So, use it then lose it (or drop it in your computer’s recycle bin).


Be sure to utilize all the features videostreaming offers. Such as:
 Full video viewing
 Video segments
 Citations (gets your students in the habit of seeing it and doing it if you cite the video source each time)
 Related materials
 Moving content to “My Content” and “School Content”
 Teacher Center – Be sure to check out the Calendar and pre-made lesson plans
Discovery Atlas (interactive world map w/ related videos)
